Directories Worth Investing Into

I've just about completed my list of web directories worth investing into..
This thread is following my previous thread regarding directories worth investing into. [Archive]

Well, I have finally just about completed my list of web directories worth investing into today. :)

I became so interested in it that I went to the extent of developing a website for the sole purpose of this topic. I spent hours and hours compiling a good, strong list of directories worth investing into, and on top of that a couple of more hours coding and developing a site that would display my list.

Without further adue, my list is located at Directory Lister.
Please note that I am still compiling and creating a list of quality free web directories.

I have decided to order my lists via PageStrength [?], which in turn will give you the more bang out of your buck the way I order my list. ;)

Well, go ahead and tell me what you think about the site, service, and list. :)
Feel free to give me some more if I missed any. :D

Please give me a link in your signature if you find the site/service/list useful...it took me quite some time to compile the list, gather information, and code the front-end and back-end of the site.

I may open a section soon for people to add to the list live..depending on how much support this project gets.

    Thanks for your time. :)

Well, if there were only 6 Free Directories worth submitting to, we'd all be in trouble.

    ExactSeek
and Jayde are definitely worth submitting to....by the way

That's already on the Premium Web Directories list, along with all the directories you're linking to in your forum signature. :p

(I added it because it seems like it's beginning to get some good marketing, similar to how Aviva and Alive Directories started out..)

Thx for adding Biz-King PR5 and Sleek PR4 directories...

They are strong directories with graet indexing in google and in my opionion
2 directories well under priced that offer 3-5 backlinks with inner PR on most pages.. thx again

Can you explain directory strength some more ... the seomoz faq is blank and the difference between Aviva & Alive is particularly interesting in these terms>

    St PR
    7.5 6 Aviva Directory
    6.5 7 Alive Directory

 I see the list resource is a bit poor till now. Have not seen some of the strong up and coming sites --like linksjuice and gii, dirsensei. Directorydump is also missing.

Beside http://www.romow.com has Page Strength 6. SEOMOZ is having problem today. Hope fully with time and reasearch --this list will improve a lot and become a great source of referance.

Sorry I'm getting so confused with the many responses within this thread.
Are you guys saying the PageStrength tool is fucking up? If so, I can't really do anything about that; you need to email SEOmoz.

PageStrength is a good resource and tool for webmasters to try to guess how much weight Google puts into a site, regardless of PageStrength. It ranks a site's link popularity, rankings, and a ton of other factors.

Yes EGS, the pagestrength tool tends to screw up with pulling all necessary data. I've offered help, just haven't heard anything from randfish.

    That's why i have this: www.directorydump.com/bls.php
Which will eventually surface when all others fail to do the job right.
It also needs some tweaking, as .co.uk domains and the likes aren't
set into it just yet. (im busy :p)

    :)
