Well, welcome to the world of Phishing. That is definitely a Phishing email.

An official email from Paypal will include your full name in the post and when you move your mouse over the URL, it should read as http://www.paypal.com .

If you already entered your name and password, then make sure you go to your real paypal account at http://www.paypal.com and change it.

Forward the mail to if you are unsure.

    Thankz friend.
It was a spoofing site and I just checked by entering any ID and password. It works !!!

Then I have blocked my CC so I am protected myself. So please don't get inside some thing like this.

I am adding the pdf of the site.Just review. It was such a perfect spoofing and I was not able to find it out unless than from the address.

I was just thinking that it was a mail from Paypal bcoz I was in a way to confirm my paypal account.

It is better that you change your password as soon as possible, if not already.

Here is the general rule from PayPal. They will NEVER ask you to verify your account or password through email so no matter how offical it may look, it is not.

well, there are a lot of scripts that will make your taskbar show the url as paypal, but it will take to a fake paypal site. the world of phishing is not all that easy!
never click any links from the email, that's the easiest way. always type in your browser, the url you want to go!:)

Another hint is never to click any of links because a site (Fake paypal site) can contain spywares which could be more dangerous for you.

I detect this phishing by comparing the two sites. They are alike. But when I tried to enter through my another paypal acc (which is also blocked ) its not worked with phishing but worked well in paypal.

When I try to trace the mail its found that the IP used is fake and the site is protected by privacy !!

Well, the phishing sites are made to look identical to the actual site. They however will not let you know in as it does not have your data. The purpose of a phishing site would be one for collection of login details. Each time you key in your email address and password, it will be stored on the phishing site's database. This database would in turn be used by the phishing site owner to log into your real paypal site.

That is basically how a phishing site works. So if you have entered your details in the phishing site, do not be happy and assume nothing would happen because they got your details already. Change your password and if possible, remove the email address which you have tried at the phishing site.
