Hi, Anyone use this site for images? They look good ... I was wondering if anyone does use them do you get the image for a unlimited ammount of time? or does the image only last for a set time span like 12 months?
i know that my web design teacher at college recommends them.. but i haven't used them or know much about them.
Thanks ... It looks like a good service but because they are soooo cheap compared to others im worried that i will have to keep re-buying the image every 12 months or something like that
I use iStockPhoto all the time - great stuff form there. Oncve you pay for the image you download it and keep it for as long as you like. You don't have to keep re-buying it.
That website is great! I was actually one of their models in one of their events here in Boston. Didn't pay me anything but I got free food, drinks, and a nice little t shirt. No complaints though. Now my ugly mug appears all over the web (For a while it was on payperpost but they took it down): Check it out: www.luminousstaffing.com --> Under "HR Friendly" Go to Monster and run a search for jobs from blue cross blue shield in the boston area, the picture that turns up should be me as well, haven't checked this in a while though.
They're one of the best and most affordable stock photo sites I know. (they're also picky about quality so getting your work approved is hard).
Yeah, the credits you buy last only 1 year. So don't go over board purchasing them or make sure you use them within the 1 year
I also thoroughly recommend them ... great quality images from $1.20 minimum (I think, it used to be $1).
Read the license agreement http://www.istockphoto.com/license.php I've used istockphoto.com since it's inception. Brilliant resource that has continually improved and evolved.
i wanted to open a threads about this subject...since the discussion already take place...may i asked...i been looking around for an photo site..and i found couple of them..seem istockphoto have the larger range in images but i read their terms of use and can't seem to catch the driff...please explained...if you're a long term member there..ok if i'm making a custom blog or website for my client and used the images there..bought and download of coz..is it illegal and violated their tos...if he/she the client distributed the blog and website i designed for them... or i can only used the image one time only in one personal site or one unique template...and cannot used it again... don't mind a noob question..ok..i'm kind of new in photo related stuff and wanted to know more before buy couple of them for future use.
