    Hi DPers,
My site gets some 3,000 uniques per day, but the CTR is 1.5 to 2% only. I feel I am losing out here. The ad placements and relevance are near perfect.

    Any tips to improve CTR?

how many impressions do you have in your site logs for 3000 visitors? if you have for example 15 000 impressions than you can't expect ctr higher than that because ctr depends on impressions, not only unique visitors.

Tell us how many clicks do you have per 3000 uniques. If you have over 300 clicks than it is a good ctr.

I second that; please be sure to include a link to your website so we can take a look and see what could be done to improve your CTR.

Yes, uniques are very important for high CTR!

Also, how is your ad placement? That might be the problem.. (lack of blending of ads to layout)

This is where the Click per Visitor becomes a more meaningful statistic. In my case, I've noticed the pageviews per visitor going up which means that the CTR (per page) is going to go down, but when I look at clicks per visitor it's a different story.

    Hello,

Look this example dealofday DOT com /deal/merchants , Some on this forum say it looks like spam, but for me, no, there are many reputables sites using it...

    Best,

If your site is informative enough, then the people would be clicking your ads. Make it a little boring sites to earn higher CTR...

Anyway, impression is one thing, the others is unique visitors.
