While killing ants is probably unavoidable (I probably do so without being aware of it) I actually don't kill spiders, rodents, etc. etc. etc.

 

The cuteness...like you said.

If there are bugs in my house, I throw them outside.

Although there is a coon under my deck that might be seeing my BB gun in a few days.

I have raccoons in the canyon outside my house. There's also a fox roaming around there somewhere.

seriously though ants suck, specifically FIRE ants!

they can BURN!

 

Fire ants are no joke. I was in Texas one time, and my family had me pose for a photograph. I took a step backwards straight into a red ant den... hole... whatever you call their place of dwelling. My entire foot/ankle/leg swelled up. It was not pretty.

 

I draped a dead beaver in front of a golf hole a few years ago.

...A nice surprise for the old people behind us.
