I use to worry when my site/sites got above 18-20% because that was the word on the street. maybe things have changed a bit.

High click thru rates will alert google of your account activity but you will not get banned unless you are doing something wrong. I have a site that get over 50% click thru sometimes. As long as it is different people and not some idiot clicking on your ads all the time you are safe.

I had this happen, some people where clicking not 20, but over 50 times a day, about 3 or 4, I didnt have adlogger so I did not know why my CTR shot up like that, from 5-6% to 50-70% in a day, this went of for about 3 days.
Google banned me, no warning...
A few days later I got an email from the $#%^&%^ who where clicking, telling me what they did, but the guys at adsense did not even pay attention to my explanations...

Like stated above, if you have done nothing wrong, it shouldn't be a problem.

I think I'm safe :p. I get 6% CTR naturally. I thought that was high because previously it was around 3-4 but I guess I'm safe. These CTR's I see on here are like gigantic!

I would be worried if i had low volume of traffic with that click rate. If you have alot of traffic it could be a good ad on your site but that is very high click thru.

If it keeps up i would email google and ask them so they do not think your doing something wrong.

No reason to mail google. My avg CTR has been at 30%+ for the last 3 months and I've always been paid. You people are way too afraid of google. They like money, they won't ban you unless you do stupid sh*t.

I would recommend that you keep an archive of your web server logs and also if you are not already signed up with Analytics, do that! If at all your adsense account is locked/banned, you will have enough data in hand. Analytics data will be taken for granted by Google as it's their own product, you can show them that your traffic was genuine that ways easily!

How old is your webiste. If this jump is so fast I think that there must be somthing fishy.... Perhaps some one wants to see you banned by google and clicks on your ads. Mail google or you will get a mail form them...

Adlogger isn't illegal - you are not touching any part of Google's script, and you are not modifying how the ads behave whatsoever. It will however keep track of clicks for you, and warn you of a click-bomb.
