Wow. Normally I'd say "thanks for that random tidbit!" sarcastically as in who would happen to be thinking about buying that on these boards. But I used to live within a 1/2 mile of that, on that same road. Kind of shocking to see that addy pop up on DP. So I guess I'll say "Cool, I used to live near there!"
How was that the least bit helpful to you? Why are we not buy that property? What is the original poster's interest in the property? To properly, and legally, inform potential buyers of the pending lawsuit, a lis pendens should be filed. This will show on title to the property and is the proper was to alert any potential buyers that there may be an issue with title or other problems with the property.
Actually, that might be somewhat helpful to me. . . I plan on moving to somewhere between Atlanta & Alabama off 20 from Michigan within the next month or so. I wasn't necessarily looking to buy a house - initially I'd just rent.. . but thanks for the tip.

Post caught my attention. I'm in Winder, GA. A little west of Athens, GA. I know exactly where that house is, I know some good people who live on the same road about 9 houses down! LOL
