    I hate generalization.
I'm absolutely positive that there are countless people in the US who are trying this.
Just because one person came out in the open and said she does this all of a sudden all indians are bad?
Sure, I believe that outsourcing (SEO, web design, coding) doesn't do us any good (Which is why I only hire US / Europeans), but blaming Indians in general won't do any good.

Having said that, when I run PPC campaigns I NEVER accept Indian traffic to begin with. Its just of no value to me anyways.

When I run PPC campaigns, I block traffic from India (unless it is something to with India). And am an Indian, but business is more than pulp patriotism. The reason why traffic from India does no good in PPC, if you are selling stuffs, is most Indian do not have a credit card, the reason being head-inside-posterior strategies by the Indian govt.

India is a huge country with a huge middle class and burgeoning appetite to spend. But sadly, no credit card. The day, the govt, gets it acts together, you will see most Indian webmasters, making websites by the thousands catering to Indians.

You just cannot ignore your own country when it has a population of 100 Billion and obsessed with computers ;)

i dont agree with you on that credit card point. Did you visit india lately? I dont live there anymore but i know for sure that banks are now offering credit cards like giving away leaflets.

I no more live there but i got about 5-6 FREE credit cards, which i never even applied for.

India is changing faster than you think but what we lack is an attitude change. I dont know the future of india but it doesnt look too promising to me even though ppl say we will rule the world.

What we lack is not money...its the attitude of the ppl...its the infrastucture and the whole lot of corruption makes it worst..

Way to go, you are ashamed of your country? (now you are not in India, good, we can do without people like you, who hate their country at the drop of his hat).

That news was three years old. And the reporter doesnot even know what he/she is talking about, just read the post line by line.

Wow you got 5 - 6 credit cards, when dude and you never applied for it. Please tell me the bank or company, I will call them up and see I get a couple of them cards.

Get your facts right. Even before you apply for a credit card , you must have a Income Tax reciept (regardless of whether you are an income tax assesse or not). The tax receipt should show atleast 2 years of tax filing.

If you donot fall into any tax brackets, that below Rs. 100000, you still have to get hold of a chartered accountant, file the return and get a reciept that states you are not an assessee.

And while signing up for the card, you have to give triple copies of that TAX receipt.

After all this, you will get a bronze level card (if your Income is below Rs. 100000 per year) and you can transact in dollars (read ..buy things online) , but will attract a surcharge of 3.5% or more for every transactions.

Show me a bank that is offering a credit card without those above conditions, and govt. imposed red tape.

The reason for blocking Geo-targetting to India is not because of the Credit Cards but because Shipping to India is a problematic experience. There are a hell lot of formalities to be gone through and a lot more taxes to be paid to get something here.

Even then, online goods are a hit amongst Indians, there are more Indians buying Ebooks, renting servers and hosting than one can think of.

Again, let me point out. This is not how adwords works, there click tracking system is awesome, and mind my words when i say it. These click-rings are for those "You pay me I will get people to click on your banners" type of sites.

And believe me there are many such kind of sites, there was one Consumersofindia.com, some baazeegar.com and then the Click2freemoney.com! All Scams, All closed down!

Check this out, someone spamming about making thousand via clicking
    http://forum.agriscape.com/?read=21418

These sites are basically similar to autosurfs, In an autosurf you pay to get your site shown to the visitor for some time, here you pay to get the visitor to click on your banner located on their site and to stay on your site for atleast 10 seconds.

This is what it is all about, it is not about Adsense/Adwords!

Yeah we should just switch the internet off in india because a few indians are comitting fraud.

Click fraud occurs in all countries and its often a lot more high tech than hiring people to click ads.

Do I read ban India ? Umm... check this out http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/06_40/b4003001.htm maybe we should ban Botswana, Mongolia, Syria, etc as well and what about http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/14.01/fraud.html maybe ban America too. Whats wrong with you guys ? this type of clicking is called click fraud and is done all over the world. Just 2 minutes of google search gave me these results. Who knows a little more search and we'll end up banning the whole world :). I guess that would be a better solution wouldn't it ? ;). Oppss .. will I get a flamer for posting links ? I guess it was a necessity in this instance so mods please excuse me.
