Remove cc from paypal

    I am a verified paypal user , what happens if i remove the cc attached to paypal.

    Will i become unverified again...?:rolleyes:

    I actually want to remove the existing card and add a new card:D

    Well, you probably remain verified but limited. Don't ever remove the attached credit card which you use to verify your account. You can always add a new card in.

    If your old card is still active, leave it there. Just add the new card in, go to the expander program then make the new card the primary card. Wait a while then if you think you want to remove the old card then do so. There is no reason to do so because they will never take your money without your knowledge and you can decide not to use your old card for any payments anyways.

    so eddy does that mean that , after adding a new card and making it primaray , i can remove the old card....?

    Yes, only when you successfully completed the Expander Use Program for the new card. Otherwise, it is not a good idea to remove your old card.

    Adding and removing cards should not be a problem, as long as you set up at least one as primary. Eventually, you could remove all, like I did once for testing, and it worked. Logically, it get's limited if you do that since you no longer have a credit card to use for payment purposes. You can still accept payments and withdraw them as long as there is a bank account attached to your PP account. I did have to test it all so I took my time to add / remove bank accounts and credit cards. Paypal did not seem to mind. Afterall, the have been earning well on me.

    Your acount will be verified btu THEY CAN limit your account access. So, better add scond one and enter 4 digit number and then removing the first one.

    Most paypal users have reported this when they removed their old CC for adding a new one and their accounts got limited. Though, they got back to normal within a week...pretty fast!

    Yes u can remove the old one and u will still b verified,I myself removed my CC from paypal and having no problems.

    this solves a lot of my problems. i always fear that i will to a phising email and my paypal account will be hacked. and the credit card will be misused. but then if i can remove the card, and still get the verivied status, perhaps it's better to go for it! thanks:)
