is it worth it to pay someone to manually submit your site to directories?
have any of you track the performance?

There are some honest ones out there, but in truth you probably could never tell whether they did or did not submit, and you certainly cant blame them if you dont get accepted even if they submitted, software would be the same, no real proof.

Performance is tricky, did the submittor perform, sure, but did he get you into the directories? A tough one there, youll have to go with instincts if I were you..

Do it yourself if you can do it. There are small details that you might use with your listing that a submission service will not be able to do for you. You are the only one that knows your directory better.

But if you're too busy get someone to do it. From my own experience many of the submission service will submit your listing, but many of them don't read the instruction, wrong category, bad description/or title, and a few others.

I'm working on accepting only "100%" manual submission and anyone else will be deleted. That's why I sometimes change instruction a few times or do other things

There might be a someone who does manual submission or maybe I might try to get into this business as there not many of them.

I do submission service--99% manual (as i have to use Roboform to fill up:D )
But --not at DP rates--where you can find submission service for 100 directories for $4. I wonder how could they do it and how valuable it is:rolleyes:

I wont use this service. See where they submitted their own website into my free directory...Internet Which is a Top level category and a wrong category for that even. I have a Submission Service category just fo that, instead this service decided to submit in the Internet section. How this gets to be explained, I don't know, this guys should very well know that most of us that run a free directories would not tolerate sites being submitted in the Tol level. This company did not care....Now would you use this service? I know I wouln't be using it.

Its because they are illiterate and stupid + lazy...

Everyone by now should know that the only way your getting to suck that PR juice in the TOP CATAGORY is by getting featured links...No freebies when thier are those that are willing to spend a few bucks to better thier sites.

    thx
