I think I have a good idea...but have no idea how to impliment it. What if there were a script that would reward recipricol links with adsense revenue sharing. There could be a form on my website where people could fill in the location of the recipricol link as well as their publisher ID. Then, whenever someone comes from their site to my site...their ad is shown and I split the revenue with them. Is there already a way to do this? If not, can someone make a script like this? Please forgive me if this idea is not mine...but also point out where I can find it
Hello, Why people would like to share adsense revenue? I don't understand your idea.. sorry, What earn? Best, Jakomo
does anyone else understand this concept? it would create a virtual web of your adsense account. If you have a link to my site on yours...if someone clicks it then they are 1) leaving your website because of that link...and 2) arriving on mine boosting my pagerank while still serving your adsense ads.
but sweety, why people may send you a visitor for a revenue share ?, they can put an ad instead of your link and get the revenue with no share ... forget about it, this is my advice ....
that is a good point...I guess I have a question then...is an ad on someone else's site considered a recipricol link?
Yes right, my advice is to exchange links with related websites and submit your link to some of these directories, most of them are free keep browsing it's a hard work for lazy webmasters like me but it worths it ... http://www.blong.info/Directories/General_Web_Directories/
That's a key item when exchanging links. Probably makes the link exchange a lot more credible in the eyes of SEs.
So in a way...the value can be good for both parties. It would still be in the spirit of recipricol ... meaning there would be value for both parties involved. Anyway...Can this be done? If yes, who wants to help me. There is only one way to find out...right?
Yes my dear, and what kind of help you need ?? exchanging links done by contacting the webmaster then sending him your link, he place your link and you place his link .. done ... Try this forum : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=53 - LINK EXCHANGE FORUM
there is something called vb ad management - it is a vbulletin mod that lets your users put their adsense coder under new threads. Its an incentive for a member to post a good topic. Works on some forums btw. you can search on it. Your idea is very similar to that but inferior.
Nice find, there is also : http://www.esyndicat.com/ http://www.dew-code.com/ http://www.linkexchangesuite.com/ http://www.skalinks.com/ (http://www.skalinks.com/dir/) http://seo.infomediasrl.com/link-script/ http://www.seostart.com/dirman/about/
sandrozdz you mean something like here on digital point I think this is if not good idea, very intresting one, maybe something similar would be usefull for some.
could work, seems like the unique user tracking would be a bitch, guess you could jsut store some sort of affliate ID in the session variable. Seems like it could work, but why not just put the ads on your site instead of a link so that you get 100% of rev rather than 50%.
I don't think you guys are really giving enough credit for this idea - I mean inbound links are real currency in the online world - and I mean if we can revenue share for content then why not revenue share for inbound links - after all people that link your sites are "supporters" of your site. Personally I'm super intrigued by this idea. I mean I think there is definite merit to offering some relevant sites in the industry a percentage of the revenue share if they are then in turn going to support your site with high quality inbound links because I mean you can really leverage that link juice to improve your sites positioning in the SERPs. In addition to all this there are lots of other benefits like instead of needing to buy link you can no obtain them without any payment, and the link you will be getting will be of much higher quality in terms of position on a advertisers page etc because they have a vested interested to see your site succeed not to mention that they may offer more than just a link if they see the value of the revenue share system working and they may be motivated to help with the site in terms of suggestions and maybe even content development. I dunno - that is just my two aussie cents.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I was beginning to feel beat up in this thread. The whole thing is about relative clicks...not junk clicks. It's kind of like sharing content as well as revenue over multiple websites. Say for example, there is a community of sites about Baseball (each containing adsense with this revshare script). The guy (or gal) with the Mets site isn't going to have an "ad" on the Yankees guy's (or gal's) site...and vice versa...but they could each have links to each others site.
