New Adsense CPA Model Rocks

I just did a write-up on my blog about this. From what I read on Google's site, this new CPA model may be just what we've all been asking for for years!

You can basically specify your own keywords for the ad block, and Google will rotate in the best performing programs for you! No more having to keep up on the latest affiliate payouts, etc...

I applied for the beta, haven't heard back yet... but I can't wait to try it out.

If you haven't tried it, how do you know it rocks?

It will definitely be interesting to see if Google gives CJ and Linkshare a run for their money. As a publisher, this should be good news for us.

But again, I'll have to wait and see how the testing goes; I will definitely test it on various sites, just like I tested AdSense VS. YPN. YPN actually does better on some sites.

it would be nice if google rotated in a banner with CPC and CPM ads and that way they have to compete so they are not getting free advertising.

Eh, they seem to only be accepting people who meet a certain requirement right now (not sure what requirement that is). I tried to register... we'll see what happens.

    Yes good point... =)

I shouldn't get too excited. But I've been pretty happy with Google's past improvements, like the addition of image/video ads... which resulted in a pretty decent improvement for my site's overall revenue.

If I get in, I'll be sure to report back on how well it works... granted I expect performance will be better than usual in the beginning with all the advertisers being on their best behaviour reporting conversions, etc.

Honestly CJ sucks..those affiliates gets all the clicks and we get no $$$ coz people dont like those stupid offers. Imagine how many clicks you lost on your adsense..

anyways hopefully google CPA turns out to be a good option. am optimistic
