Can you believe this $250 ecpm

when i first started my travel site and put adsense, one day i was shocked to see $250 ecpm , i got just one click that day and i got paid $15. the site gets less traffic like 10 uniques. well that was the only day. i actually did a blunder starting that site i paid almost $1200 to build the site and the content. Had i know about DP I could have saved that money. If i sell it now i would not even get $100 so iam still keeping it.

What i have noticed is adsense pays more when the traffic is less but pays less when you have more traffic i think it is their algorithm that does that

well there are guys on Dp who believe that . There are a lot of high paying keywords other than travel and real estate , travel and real estate still pays good though

 

With that traffic I can easily believe a 250 ecpm. One click here or there can change it substantially.

ya , ive seen that too, when I have lower traffic, the earnings sky rocket

 

I dont know if any of you guys thought about this i think the search and adsense and tied together in some way , google knows everything

 

i don't think it's necessarily low traffic, but low impressions (per unique visitor) if you have high traffic from a lot of unique visitors its a plus rather than high traffic from few unique visitors.. from what I've seen.

 

I am not sure if I would say "shocking". I have very high eCPM quite often.
