Urgent:::Paypal Verification Issue?? Addon card

    Hello Guyz

    I need to verify my paypal account and i tried in all ways to get a Credit Card myself and through my father But in Vain.

    So when i said so to my Uncle he said he will Get me a Addon card with his Credit Card. So now my Question Is that, can i use it to verify my paypal Account as i would have the card on my name and Original card on my Uncle's Name who is from Different family(And would have diff surname)

    Guyz looking for your Replys, As it is Urgent.

    Thanks for any help


    I have a option to Use VCC but i dont wat to use it as i deal with paypal in few 1000's so cant use VCC to be on secure side

    see buy/sell section .
    you can find many VCCs ..that's anonymous and you can use cards with any billing address .
    buy 1 and add to your paypal acc .

    HDFC generated netsafe cards aren't accepted AFAIK

    IF Addon Card is on your name then you can use it to verify your PayPal account. Try that first. I won't recommend VCC as the main purpose of verification dies with VCC. Though you can always get a VCC here on DP :)

    If the main cardholder has used a card no. on his PP account, then further use of this no. as addon card for another PP account isn't allowed.

    You can use a card whose number is unique (not used in anyother paypal account). The name printed on the card DOES NOT MATTER.

    You can always use the addon card for verification as the card number of any addon card is unique and therefore it can always be used to verify paypal.

    BTW: I too sell VCC's

    In my case the card no. isnt unique. Same no. on main and addon card (yes, names should be and are different)

    Buddy just wanted to point out if the cardnumber can't be the same on both cards as this will not give an unique identity to either one of you.
    Any CC will bear a unique name and unique number but from your reply I can see that the same CC number has been allotted to 2 people.
    This is not at all possible.

    How come have you laid your hands upon such a card??

    You can have the same name over several cards but each of the cards must have different numbers even if they are supplementary cards.

    I never seen any credit card with the same number apart from a replacement card.

    This does seems odd as it could possibly be a stolen number or fake card. I don't believe that any credit card company will issue the same number on two cards.

    It's a HDFC bank card...I confirm that the numbers are the same and even the CVV codes are same for the 2 VISA cards.
