there are these big ads on a section of my website, it's always there and doesn't change when i refresh the page. now my questions is, do these big ads that take up 4 ad spaces pay more than normal ads that only take up a portion of the entire ad space? if it pays the same, i'll filter it out, because why show one ad when it can show 4 ads? does anyone know about this? Thanks =)
I think they would have to, to be honest as they are using up all the room within the block, and have a greater chance of being clicked.
According to an e-mail from Google I got, the medium rectangle has the best results. Advertisers like that size apparently.
The big ads actually pay more. It means an advertiser targeted your site and bought up all your inventory (4 ads). You should be happy and you should see a difference in your earnings.
i see.. and how about ads about adsense? they can't be PSA because i removed that in my account options, do we get paid at all when people click through it? and when people do sign up, are we automatically a referrer?
I've always wondered about, how much do we get paid if an AdSense ad is clicked. I mean, AdSense can't bid on keywords, can they? Do they have a fixed rate?
it is a site ad.if you keep seeing it someone bought a spot on your site. the bad news is that you wont get paid for a click. the good news you'll get paid by cpm. if you dont want them,go into your account and turn off.not sure if that will get rid of site ads (cpm ads).read the faq.
i guess what he meant by bigger ads...is the ad is is using the whole space. those are typically CPM ads. they r targetted on your site and pay for impression. i have no clue if they pay higher than normal ads if clicked
you dont get paid for a click? are you sure? if that;s the case no one will ever show cpm ads.. unrealistic to me
just place your ads in a position where it has a greater chance of being clicked, be it small or large ads size.
"Medium Rectangle" is as specific as you can get when specifying the name of a Google ad block. It's exactly what Google calls it. There's only one ad block called "medium rectangle." A banner is not called a "rectangle" because "banner" ads are a classic web standard. Now the medium rectangle is becoming a favorite.
