Just curious to see if you are searching the general chat when you should be something else? There's nothing like a deadline that makes me want to search DP more. Why is that? I think it's because when I'm not on DP, the curiosity gets the best of me and I think...ok just a quick look and then I'll get back to work. I have a whole system that I run through when I'm having a writer's block and it usually works. By the time I've run my system of DP checks, I can work with a clear mind and really get stuff done. So don't be so hard on yourself the next time you are HERE when you should be working.
I should DEFINITELY be working on something else right now, but I'm putting it off. In fact, it's time to get back to work. Thanks for the reminder.
actually i have bunked today my classes for the dp, that's not good, but sometime it dosenot matter. anyways, i just missed my class, actually not missed completely, i should be there till 10am, but i left for home at 9am. but them i can't stop myself from browsing dp, so i will miss some other important works in the process, but it dosen't matter
i actually laughed just reading the title of this thread, because it was such a wake-up call for me. god knows i want to be a teacher and teach bored highschool kids.
At the moment I am doing hard keyword research and grouping ... in the past week I have generated and grouped into many many groups about 9,000 keywords / phrases ... for my sanity I flick between this and DP.
i must sleep at this time. i have been before my computer for last 7hours and i have night duty in my office today where i have to be awake and before computer for atleast 8-9 hours again (but without DP)
Right now is a perfect example of when I should be working and I'm not. It's good to see that I'm not the only one. Mary
Me too. I finally get my son off the computer and think "I must start writing some stuff".... but... "Hey, i'll just check out DP first" ... for inspiration
