Hi I'm self employed on the internet and I was wondering where I would put my hosting costs for the year and the domain costs in the tax form. I'm from USA.

    Your help would be appreciated.

You should hire a tax accountant.

At least for this year. There's a lot of creative stuff you can do...and the $150 you spend will pay for itself many times over.

Could you have posted this 2 months ago!!

That just hit me that I didnt add that in my taxes. Since I pay $400 a month in hosting it probably would have been a good idea.

I cant answer your question though, just had to make a comment. :)

Go to a professional, it's worth it. Hell, even the money you spend on tax prep is tax deductible.

Hosting, domain, PPC spending can be used as expense. however, you are going to spend sometime explaining to your accountant what those are

They are considered business expenses.....I wrote off all mine as well...be careful though..I wrote off my computer, but it is 5 years old, so I had to factor in how much it is actually worth (I think I claimed 500$ total for computer, printer, and software)...get yourself a tax person to make sure.
