$100 for winning site design on Heroes fan site

don't give the CH hassle over price, if the price doesn't appeal to you don't enter, some people will enter comps like this as they may need the money, or just be starting out, or like me just for the fun of it

anyway i have tried a new idea out bargaindoctor, less template looking and space to put your google ads and room for the vids and blog etc...

 

ITs also big in Actionscripting yummy

as i pointed out - $150 will go to the best site you can put together. the point of the contest is $150 to whoever can put together the best site for heroesunleashed.com. CMS is just an example. I'm open to ideas, a combo of forum, blog, or whatever, and design would be a big part. It doesn't have to be CSS, xhtml or whatever else. Just to the most creative site concept.

So Dusty Dog - your point noted, and I completely understand that you can't produce your idea of a top notch site for this price, fair enough but I have faith that there are people who will be able to put together something for this price. When I have more funds then maybe i'll come back and see what you can put together.

I would love todo this... Im a BIG FAN of heroes. I think allot of people are and this project is really exciting. I just can invest my time

 

I'm with you on this one. I could really make a good site, that would integrate with the forum too. However, I just can't take the risk of spending time on something "i might" win or get compensated for.

can you guys put up design ideas just to show me what you can put together. just quick work just to illustrate to me what you can do. i am especially keen if you're a fan because you will know what it takes to make a successful site.

well.. I myself have a template out there for contest.. As much as I would like to give you positive feedback I will maintain the spirit of competition and reserve my right to not comment on my competitors hehehe

 

inkstar and yutewa - nice entries guys. i like bits of both. i prefer the design itself of inkstar's just because the images really jump out. however i prefer the template of yutewa because i can see that it would be more dynamic if i want to put in adsense codes, and has more 'space' for content. yutewa if you can make your design sharper in colours and images i think it would drastically improve. inkstar - i think design wise you are winning but iwould definitely like to see some more spacing for content like vids etc.
