    i discovered last week this script, http://www.adlogger.org/

    the idea is to protect you, and not receving fake clicks

    i have tried to implement the script but is not working for me

    who is using this script?

    Paranoid people are using the script. People who think google will ban them for something that didn't involve them, and people who think google is evil.

    The only reason I could see using an ad logger is to see which pages receive the most clicks, so you can promote those pages

    I think it's useful to discover the real Adversiter Ads clicked on your site; that way you can discover real MFA sites and block them with Competitive Ad Filter.
    But as Giraph said, seems a little paranoid to use the option to blocking ads

    I'm using it, but it counts mouse overs on firefox. So the number of clicks is not accurate

    I've been using Adlogger for a long time. it's not perfect, and it has it's good points and it's bad points, but I feel naked without it..

    PS- Even though i am paranoid, I don't think Google is evil..

    Ok, so I guess you have already installed the script correctly.
    So you have to go now at the URL that you installed the script e.x www.yourdomain.com/adlogger
    and put your username and password...

    First thing you have to do is go at the:
    SETTINGS > Settings and Preferences and at
    "A visitor can click a maximum of 4 ad(s) "every 12 hour(s)."
    Below write your email address so you can get a message for every click you get! :)

    Everything below I reccomend make them all YES

    Now go to your FTP program and go at www.YOURDOMAIN.com/adlogger

    There you should change the permission of these 3 files: config_admin.php, config_database.php, & config_settings.php into 664

    Now you should generate the tracking codes e.t.c...
    Tracking Codes

    Go at Code Generator -> Add/Edit Channel
    Make some channels: e.x Main-Page, ForumPages or just MYSITE. This depends on you on how many channels you want to make.

    Then Select Channel and click the Generate button
    Put this code just BEFORE the </body> tag

    Protection Codes
    Go at Code Generator > PHP Code Generator
    Now paste the G! Adsense code and click Generate
    The following code will be created:

    <?php include_once ("///YOURDOMAIN.com/adlogger/ad_check_include.php");
    if ($show_ads == "y") { ?>
    G Adsense Code
    <?php } ?>

    Now make as much codes you need for every code you generate on G! Adsense

    I hope this helps :)

    adlogger sux, seriously

    when i get 20 clicks from adsense, adlogger shows 600, with 20% unique ip clicks. it's pretty much useless

    Adlogger has been a life-saver for me. No doubt I'd be banned by now if I hadn't have had it in place.

    lol another NOOB!! hehehehe

    Those clicks very much likely is due to firefox and ie7 bugs

    as in firefox mouse over count a click.
