IMHO, it no longer seems like a good deal. In the past, when prices were much higher, maybe but now that GoDaddy, Namecheap and Domainsite are all offering close or lower than that to the end user, you do not quite have much competitive advantage especially if you tag on a few cents as profits.
Actually I can compete.. I have a 6.95 account and can sell for less than godaddy and namecheap... Yeah, they make more profit, but I'm also making profit myself.
Now that Domainsite is offering low prices? As far as I know Domainsite and Dynadot have been always cheaper than Godaddy and Namecheap, but back to Enom, after its maneuver misleading people from Registerfly I will not trust them either
I'm interested for a 6.95 account. I currently have a 7.95 and i'm pretty happy with enom. I'm using from almost all popular registrars their reseller services and if i had to choose i'll probably go with enom.
I currently have a 7.95 account with enom and am interested in the 6.95 account. I have been looking into what I have to do to get it changed. If you have any information I would greatly appreciate the help.
To me it looks like domain reselling business can be profitable if you're selling to your private clients who have come to your for website development services and would not mind having their domains registered with you. Other than that, it is neither a sever anymore nor a reselling business with a bright future. Top registrars have been offering lowest prices ever. Selling domains to the general public through your website can only be a good catch for those inexperienced domain buyers who came to you first without being aware of the risk..
