that's pretty good! and you bring up a great point - preventive maintenance is key! I do all that and still it seems slow but it would be crawling if not for the PM.

I re-install every 2 weeks, too great danger of key-loggers and leaking data from the computer nowadays.
It takes about max. 2.30hours overall, 30mins to uninstall programs, erase data on C:\\ partition, 30mins to re-install windows, an hour to set all programs up and running again, update anti-virus program and such. Taking in consideration the threaths like key-loggers, malicious cookies, with the fact that the one who knows your email password has the access to your credit card numbers, ownerships of the domains and much more, it's no big deal to take 2.30h every 2 weeks.
