Do You Click Other's AdSense Ads?

Hello,

We are all webmasters.... I just want to know whether you click ads on other sites and also on sponsored ads on Google.com. If you dont click ads on other sites. Then if you dont mind please share the reason for the same

 

I don't just because I have ad blindness and don't see them

 

If I find the ads genuinely interesting I click - there's no reason not to. I'd expect others to click my ads if they were genuinely interested too, instead of having 'AdSense block' just because they them self are a publisher.

 

Well, for me... 80% chances are that I dont click on Sponsored Ads in Google Search just to save the advertisers costs.

But I dont click on other Publishers ads... Maybe because am jealous but honestly I dont know the reason. So just wanted to know out of curiosity about whether all webmasters are like me.

In general the CTR of a webmaster site is very low. The finest example is DP itself. If you get a click then you are lucky.

 

I click them if there interesting.

 

I click! Especially if I add my url in a directory, and if I see the directory owner added it actually, in that case, when I go to see my page in the directory, I look around to see if I am interested in any of the ads there. If I am, then I click. Chances are like 60%, so most of the time, I can see something I am interested in; after all, those directories have ads to other directories, so that's good.

Now, some of you kids will call this fraud. Fuck whoever says so! It is not fraud to look for something you are interested in. The purpose of the ads is already to attract as many clicks as possible (from seriously interested users).

I have read somewhere that Webmasters dont click as they are afraid to do so. So as to protect their adsense account.

 

if i find the ads useful, i will copy and paste the url and visit the site.

 

hehe, same here. If I need to check what ads are shown on my pages, I have go by proxy . But that's better for me

 

I do if I see something that really interests me.

 

I click adsense ads all the time! Sometimes because I find something interessting in them, and sometimes to help a fellow webmaster out..

 

I usually click an ad if it sparks any interest. About 1/10 websites I visit, I click an adsesne ad.

 

I don't see a reason not clicking them when they are in interested

 

I too look through the ads to see if there is something I can use.

I would estimate that 6/10 times, there is something for me.

 

It's not a good idea to "help a fellow webmaster", it's a very bad to publicize that you do. I would only make an effort to notice (avoid ad blindness) and click only if you are truly likely to convert. By convert I mean buy there product, try their download, etc.

 

Yes I do, if someone is nice to me, or they have a decent looking website I give them a couple of clicks

 

I am immune to ads now...usually if it looks appealing, I hover over, look at the URL, and visit the site directly

 

My CTR is probably in the .001% range. I very rarely click on ads.

 

Nope, UNLESS it is something that really attracts me. That doesn't happen often, though.
