Hi to the UK members i watched comic relief last night and donated some money to them it was a great night. I enjoyed the Catherine Tate sketches especially the Tony Blair one that was funny here is a link to see it if you missed it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=OrmIxZrVH-w Mr Bean, Vicar Of Dibley with the stings and Little Britain sketches were also ones to remember. What were your favorite moments from the night.
Lots of good stuff. The best Catherine Tate with Tony Blair. Don't like Borat. Lots of money raised for good causes too.
Agree that Borat was probably a bit over the top, it wasn't that great a sketch. I liked the Catherine Tate/Blair sketch, but loved the Gervais one. Was feeling very emotional when he started crying then Stephen Merchant appeared and I realised what was going on lol Was it me, or was there meant to be another Ricky Gervais clip after that one? I remember seeing an advert with him sat in the back of a taxi or car, and I stayed up for ages waiting to see it but i'm quite sure they didn't show it at all? Also, did anyone watch the comic relief version of The Apprentice? Who was that woman that donated £150,000?
I watched the apprentice comic relief but missed some nice to see someone donate that much not sure who she was.
People on Yahoo Answers say its Roman Abramovich's now ex wife, the woman who just got a £1billion divorce settlement. But don't know if it was her.
When else do you see Tony Blair saying "Im not botherd!" on TV? Also i thought the Ricky Gervais stuff was funny with Bob Geldoff and Jamie Oliver, also the Borat stuff was a laugh. Abit harsh but i turned it over when there was storys of the children dieing and that, that was pretty nasty stuff to be watching on TV, im not into that as i dont have any money to help em out to it makes me feel even worse. Anyway, good show i thought allthough the Girls allowed sugerbabes duo was discusting Allthough i suppose they raised more money than me so ill let them off
True some of it is hard to watch like the clip where it shows the womans baby die in the car on the way to hospital and then zooms in the mothers face, they don't need to take it that far. I wouldn't want TV cameras shoved in my face watching me cry when my childs just died infront of me anyway.
