I have more than 30$ in my paypal account which I earned through Online projects. I have no Credit Cards (I'm doing my graduation...:) ).. When I select Paypal as my mode of payment in Godaddy shooping cart then It will provide PayPal login name and password page but paypal asks me to add a new Credit card details...

But I already have 30$ in my account.. Why should I add a credit card.. Is it compulsory.. ?? Because I created PayPal to money transactions Online only... Transfer money from Projects done to Paypal and do shopping online... Does godaddy require a Credit Card..?? How to pay to godaddy using PayPal without adding Credit card...???

I believe you have to add a credit card or bank account to your paypal account before you can send $.

You are REQUIRED to add a credit card before using that account to buy from Godaddy. There are 2 alternatives you have:

    1. Ask a verified member to buy what you want for you, and pay them the cost from your unverified Paypal account. I'd be happy to help you if you want. PM me if you need any help :)
    2. Use a different registrar which accepts payments from unverified Paypal. I recommend Dynadot (http://www.dynadot.com). They're simply great - simple yet powerful, great support, ICANN accredited registrar.

    Hope that helps.:)

The reason why you need to add a credit card and/or bank account to your paypal account is so that you can get your account verified. Verification means that Paypal and the people you deal with knows that you are who you are and that you are who you said you are. Because over the internet, they cannot see your face, anyone can pretend to be someone else. Verification is supposed to prevent that.

I guess the trouble with unverified account is that there are people who uses it because they want to mask their identity and cause fraud. Thus GoDaddy does not accept such payment.

Paypal itself also do not recommend you to stay unverified and thus placed a lot of restrictions on those accounts to limit their own liability.

Yes, it is compulsory. Your account is unverified and you cant pay with it, only accept money (that will remain paypal`s unless you add a credit card or bank account). Why else do you think people look for VCC and such.

Namecheap is pretty neat. I never tried dynadot before so I cannot say anything about it.

Try to get your paypal account verified, it sure will save you a lot of problem and also allow those who deal with you to trust you.

Namecheap is great too. I don't know much about their support though. I have only 2 domains with them.

Dynadot has their own forums for support and other domain-related stuff. Their staff is very friendly, hears everyone's advices, and they help you in whatever way possible if you need any. I have over 30 domains with them.

i always use dailyrazor.com ...... they accept paypal by some sort of link / or send by email, which doesnt (i dont think??) have to have a cc added to your account. if it does, then sorry - my mistake. i have a debit card attached to my account, and that works fine.

    Thank you for the information..

I came to know about domainsite.com which offers domains at 7.99$
But namecheap offers only 7.99$ for one year..If I want to purchase for 3 years the cost remains the same as 8.88$.. And dynadot allows only one year registration...

So how is Domainsite.com ... Is it reliable???

Domainsite offers them at $6.99. I LOVE domainsite, best support ever, I had no waiting time. Once in a blue moon your domains will have nameserver problems, but most of the time it is wonderful.

Namecheap support isn't bad. Usually get a response within 24 hours via email only. They don't offer phone support which is a downside.

In my eyes both are equal. I would personally go with namecheap.com if you have the extra buck to spend on each name.
