Was wondering about google and high CTR terms.I have read where if CTR is 12% and higher they ban accounts for fraud..Is this true?If so,how do they measure CTR...Over a days period, weekly, monthly?I have 2 sites right now where the ctr is at 20% in the past 2 days

If you don't do any kind of fraud and you comply with the adsense TOS, you shouldn't worry about CTR.

I would say over the month. 20% is very high i hope your not doing something your not suppose to.

If rate is 12% they will check site for sure. If it is 20% i am sure google will watch your site and look for click trades.

That can't be right. G is going to factor in more than just CTR before pressing the Ban-Button.. I have several pages that regularly get a CTR that is 3X 12% .
As far as what/how they calculate it, or how they look a it, nobody knows for sure.

Have some sites that have had 18+% CTR for 2 years and others 30+% for 1 year, never had any problems! Some days are even 100+%, don't worry.

It depends on so many factors, as long as you play by the rules there is no limit to the CTR.

If this is something that occurs often, then you will be banned. There is no way google will stand by and allow for every visitor to come to your site to click on two ads.

A high CTR sets off a red flag and your site gets monitored by Google. If ANYTHING IS EVEN SUSPECTED, your banned.

Google can be pretty trigger happy. I know first hand.

    I'd be careful.

Honestly, why not email Google support about it? Be frank with them, and that'll be a much better answer than any of us could ever give. :)

"It depends on so many factors, as long as you play by the rules there is no limit to the CTR."

    Sounds like good advice.

"There is no way google will stand by and allow for every visitor to come to your site to click on two ads."

Sounds like nonsense. Why exactly, if you can't click two ads, does adsense make ad blocks with 4 ads in them?

Between 20% and 25% of my visitors who click, click on two or more ads.

I agree, I was saying it was nonsense to the commenter who said google wouldn't allow it.

What do most people do with a list of links, they click, link1, what if they don't like what they find? They click link2

    agree 100% with you.
