How long did it take for any website of yours to generate 1000 uniques a day from G

It will depend on the type of your site and how you find your targeted visitors. You should know where to go in finding your traffic. Like posting to forums, social bookmarking, comment posting and etc. Try to read some topics here in forums on how to get more traffic.

 

It's been roughly seven years now, and I'm at roughly 3500 unique visitors a day now. Average that out and I guess it's been 500 visitors more per year, so 2 years to get to a thousand.

 

I am working very very hard to beef up my traffic. started hollywoodheadache.com 6 days ago and i have a 6 day 250 uniques per day average. it is hard work, but ill kill myself to make it successful!

 

Having traffic and having highly targeted traffic is a huge difference. A site that brings me the most money has like 800 uniques a day.

 

My first site get it in a period of a month.

 

My goal is 1000 per day but I am finding that quite a challenge to achieve. I am at about 200-300 now, grr....

 

Hm.. it took a long time I remember.

It took 6-7 months of constant hard work, but from then on it has been a ride upwards.

My most is 300 uniques a day although now I am on 200-300 uniques a day after exactly 12 months.

Although I have only just been ranked in google over the past month and since then Ive increase 100 hits a day.

Im doing a lot more SEO though now to increase that 100 to 1000.

 

Lets face it, certain sites will never reach 1,000 uniques a day just for the simple fact that people aren't interested

there are so many criterias for the answer of this question

* what is the site category ? if it's related with a competitive keyword , it will be more difficult.

* did you build backlinks for this site ? i dont mean 10 or 1000 backlinks. i mean so many backlink. if your site is related with a competitive keyword , this number will increase.

* have you optimized your site for search engines ? url, meta tags , etc.

nobody can give exact time for your question . i wrote what i mean. give your answer to yourself according to this

 

That's a kind of forcing people to look at your website. Do you have sales from such traffic and how much? I personally close such pop-ups even before they load. I never took the time to read an offer that's forcing you to read it this way. That's why I never wanted to try such offers but I'd gladly read your experience.

 

What is a step by step plan to get to the said 1000 visitors a day in say 90 days?

I am still far away to be 1K unique a day but still working on it hard. Google analytics seems to be extremely efficient for analytics, so is Xiti. But if you really wanna be independant, consider running stuff as awstats (http://www.netdynamics.eu/content/view/14/29/) combined with awstats totals in the case of plural sites (http://www.netdynamics.eu/content/view/12/28/) both operate on raw log files, which is extremely more accurate than gg analytics an permit also a precise count of consumed bandwidth which is not possible with gg analytics, nor Xiti.

An other possibility is to use phpmyvisites, works the same as gg analytics but is opensourced. To use phpmyvisites, you need to have a fully equipped hosting with php and MySQL for the latest works as a web appliance. (http://www.netdynamics.eu/content/view/15/37/)
