When New SEO site gets ranking ?

    Hi there,

    I want to know that when a 2 months old website usually gets ranking in Google for the multiple targeted keywords?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    It all depends on the website in question and how well the site has been search engine optimized and how many links are pointing to it. On some sites I have started to receive decent traffic within a month whilst on other sites it took up to 6 months before the site start ranking well in the SERPS.

    I would suggest you to look into your Google Sitemap account. The account will tell you what are the keywords that your pages are ranked for.

    My site is 5 months old and alexa is slightly over 400,000... i was told that PR is updated periodically...any idea when they are updating? My PR is still showing zero. tks

    alexa is not everything. I know someone who gets 50.000 visitors a day but still at traffic position 1 mio +. The most important thing is getting traffic, why care about alexa?

    It depends on your niche as well. If you have a lot of competition, count on a tougher road: slower to get indexed, slower to get ranked.

    For more competitive keywords, it takes months to rank up high in Google. Wait for 6 to 9 months. If your site is aged and updates frequently, your site might go up in SERPs.

    Choose some less competative keywords, & start work on that. Try get more links from relevant sites.
    Write key word rich(Not spam) good quality content 7 try to refresh them in some time intervals.
    After that try to target ur main keywords no doubt u will be success.

    Ive seen completely new website get naturally listed in the top ten on google for the term: website design
    in less then 6 months
