Did anybody see the new google ad design layout?
Wow, it is very attractive. I just saw it on my site.
It doesn't display that forever though.

I took a screenshot of it and wanted to insert the image here, but i cannot.

THere is one, with the smooth edges and such but it was posted. I don't know if that's the one you are talking about.

Do you mean the Google Adsense wording placed in a box on the lower right corner with the rounded edges? (haha, I hope that made sense). If that's what you're refering too, it makes it so hard to do good blending  it looks nice but... think about the blending!!

 really? How much of an increase? I assumed that CTR would lower since the google ad is really evident in that format (and hopefully the borders can be removed.......)

If the borders can't be removed we are in trouble.

Well it's only an option not a total conversion from the old ones right? If not THEN we are in trouble but if so we're fine just stick with the old ones right? That's what I'm doing ;).

Well we can end up with ugly designs by making the background of our site match the border... we're going to see a lot of blue sites if they decide to keep this format!

Wellllllll... I don't know if the border around can be changed in color... if so, then we are safe as far as blending goes.

It looks nicer but I don't know about the blending if border colors can't be changed. Still, should get quite some money ;)

The "Ads by Google" will definetely have an impact on the CTR. A user sees the word Ad and they are scared into clicking a link. Not a fan of that. Would prefer "Powered by" or "Served by" than "Ads by".
