Explain to me about directorys

    Hi.

    I'm interested in making a directory but before I do, what is good about doing so?

    Also, does anyone know of a script I can get my hands on please?

    The first thing you should know is that it is "directories" not "directorys".

    phpld and openld are 2 of the popular free directory scripts of the moment.

    be warned tho, directories need a lot of work, if your impatient then a directory wont be for you.

    holy cow, yes. they are a ton of work if you want it to be worthwhile. A good directory can become a full time job by itself! And a free directory is that much MORE work if you plan to screen for top submissions!


    But then again, if you go with a PAID directory, then you'll probably still end up super busy looking for quality sites to add.


    it's a lot of work....

    There are tons of scripts avaliable that you could use, depends if you want a free one or not. I personally like PHP Link Directory as a free choice.

    Hello...

    well if i were you before i start id look around and see what type
    of competion is out thier as well as whats involved.

    Let me totally 100% straight out...

    I wont buy any links from anyone that isnt experianced or
    truelly shows me that hes made his mind and investing into his directory...

    So if you came here thinking that youll be the next whos who in directories
    and making thousands daily then...you may want to reconsider again.

    I watch directories being built then 2 weeks later up on the auction block...

    But whatever you decide i wish you the best and success ;)

    One thing is necessary in directory business and that is patience because firstly you will have to invest a good amount of money then it will slowly making money but if your goal is just to make money without spending a single $ then you should try some other business.

    This is the crux, speculate to accumulate. I have spent $100's on the directories below with little incoming payments so far. But that's fine, I believe the investments will generate my pension in good time.

    Yes and ive spent alot myself.. and only NOW almost a year later am i seeing any kind of return... its the way it is, invest in your future.
