I emailed one of the companies about their site going offline, this is all I heard back:

    So, there you have it.

myspace is trying to take action but i don't think its illegal to make a bot.. its just against their TOS to abuse their site. so i don't know how far myspace will get in court, if they do.... but i doubt they'll even get them into court.

i hate myspace. even though it makes me money i want to see them suffer and die off...

the bots just have to get more underground, which they should have done in the first place...

I'm hoping someone refuses to bend to their demands and they lose in court (or never make it there). I mean, if it's illegal to make a bot, what makes that different from a browser? A browser automates viewing the myspace page - you *never* deal with cookies, headers, etc. Plus, it's not the bot-makers themselves that are sending out all the messages and the spam. There are some VERY legitimate reasons to use bots. When I have 500+ friend requests, it's the only reasonable way to accept them all...

I really hope not. MySpace bots are not illegal. If it breaks their TOS then they need to ban accounts that abuse bots.

I agree on all 3, especially the last one.
To be honest, I'm surprised they lasted this long!

i have a question with the bots...

i am using friend blaster / space station now to promote my band / other people...

I can send 400 msgs / requests per account? Or is it per IP address for the day?

Can someone elaborate on that? Thanks :D

If you guys need programs under ground when the site is down use isohunt a real good site. ;)

I'm sure the day will come when they track the IP for just such things. They already "mark" your IP when you upload pics to profiles. But so as far as I know it's still ok per account.

    A) as far as the number, I think the safer one is 350 not 400. It used to be 500 but I think they have changed it several times since then. You could try going to 400 but I wouldn't push your luck by any means if I were you.

    B) Also I actually got an email from myspace (might have been in relation to my account being flagged) that said comments limit is now 150 (used to be 200).

    {I wouldn't mind hearing what someone else to say on A&B}

Okay so I can actually just send 350 msgs out and have it switch accounts etc... Any number I should set the delay on? .. Also is there a limit to how many accounts I should push at one time?

    Thanks for the help ..

Incase you guys didn't know friendblaster pro is still up.
