I saw the Ireland game and the Zimbabweans just self destructed. Chibhabha, Sean Williams and Elton Chigumbura fell to shots which were simply not required at that stage. All they need was a bit of experience- they needed to play normal cricket. Taylor and Matsikenyeri did that, but once Taylor fell, the harakiri started again.

The Irish weren't bad by any stretch of imagination. Yes, they do have their technical flaws, but give them some exposure and I am quite sure that they will become a world class team in the next few years.

I expected Eoin Morgan to go and make a big one, but oh well.........

Tied matches are always fun to watch. Every ball counts and it is quite an edge of the seat moment throught the last over.

Well I agree that Zim just self destructed their match. This is good start for Ireland. They played well and deserved for this results.

It is St Patricks day, so Ireland will be fired up :)
But I think Pakistan have too much class for Ireland. The Irish will need to play very, very, very well and hope that the Pakistanis have an off day. Rain could play a role too

ROFL, Pakistan are 72/6 right now in 20 hours, this is the most sickiest performance I've ever seen by Pakistani team. I dont think they will even win this match against Ireland :(

India lost to Bangladesh and Pakistan is down and under at the moment as well. Irelend needs 52 runs to win from 22 overs (quite achieveable).

Niall O' Brien played superbly. He didn't show that kind of ability in the game against Zimbabwe though.

Full credit to the Irish, they now have an excellent chance of making it to the super eight. As for the Indians, Bangladesh were simply more dedicated, more committed and more enthusiastic ;)

Quite disappointing performances by Pakistan and India. I knew that they will lose after the first innings. Pakistan is completely out and there's a strong chance that India will be out too. What has happened to cricketing giants? :(

thanks to greg chapple and bob wolmer to waste such great teams.

remember pakistan was runners up in 99, and india was in 03, so you can imagine what these oursider coaches have done.

anyways, am losing interest in cricket as well, hope it dose not effect my cricket blogs, cheers!:)

Well Yesterday we show some of biggest upset in WC. Pakistan is first team who out of this worlcup and Ireland is first team who booked their place in super 8.

We have still chance to advance next round by beating Bermuda and Srilanka.
