I'd like a review for my new gaming site
    http://nogamesallowed.com

I spent all day working on that template and making some of the pages~
    hopefully its "ok"

or looks like something you might want to go back to some day

(the forums are not up yet if your wondering why there is *nothing* on the forums)

    and that's all

1-10 what do you rate it? Whats your review? :D

I would tone down the aqua shade as well as the gradients for a more cleaner look ;)

Here is what i want to say:

1- the gradient bg of headings like News, Hoiya!, Navigation is too bright. make the starting (upper) color to a bit dark

2- Change the font of complete site, use Tahoma or Arial (i think)

3- For left navbar: Use some type of arrow/bullet for the links and also give links left padding for atleast 15px.

hope u don't mind these corrections and it helps you!

    cheers

Ah, very nice specific "fix's" thanks, I'll fix some of them after school...

although I don't feel like going throughout the whole template to change the graphics bars... is there a where to change one part of a page... *site-wide*?

    ^and in dreamweaver^ ?

First thing I would do is to make it fit into normal monitor sizes. The width is to big.

really? Maybe your monitor is just really small :p
don't the majority of people use the 1280 by 1024 pix?

I would guess that the most common screen resolution is 1024 x 768

Your size is coming, you are just ahead of time :)

sitewide changes: search and replace, would that work ?

In dreamveawer, ctrl+f then choose "find in" selected files in site, choose text or source code, then select the files/folders you want to change, input the find and replace data in the box, click replace all.
Warning, once you replaced all there are no way back so take care.

Ok, bad explanation, but quick, now, green me :D :D :D (not)

Get used to ".gifs" -- your logo alone is 145kb a gif, usally shows very little loss of quality except on true images, and will make that header image under 10kb

Good start matey. keep up the good work.

Even if I like, its difficult to say something good about this site. Colors are not good (blue... gray fonts...). As said before, site is to big. I thing you should ask someone to redesign this site completely.
