Would this be against the tos?

Say I have a referral link for the firefox + google toolbar on my site. And then in my forum I have a user bar for the admin that says firefox user. Is that breaking the tos or really close to it? I'm not sure I want to try it but I'm just wondering.

 

Not breaking the TOS. The only problem would be if the admin was actually an IE7 user - slightly dishonest! Check out my post on the referral policy clarification.

why don't you email adsense and get an accurate answer. What if someone here says yes and they are wrong?

I don't understand why people just don't ask adsense direct to avoid any complications...

 

You aren't allowed to be dishonest, but the method is still in TOS.

I think you are right, but here too you will get accurate answer + opinion of many member which adsence will not give.
