Is this particular verse abrogated? Also, recently someone posted a link to a study on Islamic philosophy stating that if two verses from the koran seem in conflict, both are still correct. So if there is a verse in the Koran or sura that states that given x, y, and z, you must (or may) kill persons a, b, and c, isn't that also correct?
what percentage of people have it all wrong then? I am seeing large numbers murdering in the name of allah proclaiming islam and very few publicly denouncing the activities who also proclaim islam. To top off the numerous verses in the koran the commands that the kaffir be killed, harmed or at least lied to. (some verses mention people of the book which I am told represent Christians and Jews, while others say quite the opposite.)
In the Quran it says A muslim Cannot kill another muslim.. When 9/11 happened muslims died.. So if OSama bin laden says he is a muslim he is wrong.. Because if he follows the Quran he cant kill other Muslims.. But he did.. That means OSAMA BIN LADEN CANT BE A MUSLIM!

so thats why he invokes allah's name during all those video's he sends out, because he is "not" a muslim? Thats why he calls for jihad, which is a muslim word (interesting enough jihad is actually used better to describe the war inside of someone, love how the media got that one wrong)? If want you are saying is true about real muslims and those who are not, then you need to speak up against what is happening and also encourage other muslims to do the same. Until there is a majority speaking against those actions, those actions are doing the speaking of the majority. I can understand that there can be those who are following the book and those who don't but still call themselves muslims, since Christians have the same issue to a much smaller extent. There are a few people calling themselves Christian but do nothing Christ-like. BUT actions speak louder than words AND "they will know you by your fruit." (fruit being the outward results of the inward man)
