Daliy SEO Tips... Everyone's Invited...

Hi All,


I was recently doing SEO Analysis for many website and I my common observation for the almost all the websites were that will do SEO for a website; we tend to focus too much on broader aspects that we tend to ignore the smaller aspects of SEO.

Hence I thought of posting one SEO Tip daily, as per my knowledge and experience, concentrating more on the smaller details of SEO rather than the bigger picture.

I also invite all of you to please add in your SEO tips here so that together we all can enhance our knowledge on SEO… 


Today's SEO Dose:

Always make sure to include some kind of actions on all your top scoring high performance webpages. Well trust me but this is not at all difficult nor it takes too much of time either, but yes it does makes loads of difference in getting good quality results.

This act will help in giving a reason to your visitor to take further action within your website rather than just leaving your website from the 1st and foremost page itself.

So. Always create information rich and action loaded pages for your website…

Better than nothing is a saying for SEO, too. So, any small SEO techniques should be helpful. But doing small things only give you small results. And yes, it's still better than nothing.

What I usually focus is quite the opposite. I like to start with something more important than using H1 tag.

Doing SEO in the order of priority is more effective, IMHO.

 

check your outgoing links....make sure the sites you are linking to are still active and see if they have penalties.....talking from experience

 

Create sitemaps for Google Yahoo & MSN + make sure all your title tags have good titles with keywords

I really cant translate any of that 'tip'...

How is that helpful in terms of SEO? Making visitors have to stay on your page longer has nothing to do with the rankings of your page

 

Always check the traffic and inbound link for the site. Check the keywords ranking and positioning of the site. If it is not deliver good result, make neccessary on-page optimization and promoting of site.

 

Most effective on page optimization tip:
"title tag should be till 68 characters only as Google chops of after 68characters and no unnecessary words should come there.Repetition of any keyword should be avoided.And u must include your main keywords at the start."

so, i should say... to get better ranking..SEO should make links and think of a better keywords necessary for site to have a better ranking.

Create and article about your site and submit it to different article directories. Don't forget to include your links and other details. Article submission is a good source of one-way links!

Update your SEO techniques everyday and post your updated technique on your blog. But I don't think that SEO will post all their secret techniques. If you have a blog about your updated technique can you post the URL I would like to be updated.

Here is Today's SEO Tip of the Day


Search for your most important keyword/phrase. Carefully study the top 10 results for the same. Think.... Which is the best written title? Which is the most captivating? Which grabs the reader by the throat and makes him or her want to click on the link? Is it the #1 ranked result? Not necessarily, is it? Is it your listing?

If it's not your listing, and especially if you're having problems with click
throughs with this keyword phrase, how can you change your title to make it more intriguing and designed to pull in traffic? We're talking about click throughs here. You can often beat the top ranked sites if you have a more appealing and captivating title.

Make a list of title changes, being sure to include your keyword phrase in the title... Set it aside and don't look at it for two- three days... Then, bring it out again and study the list again. Begin culling down the list. Get others' opinions, it's always better.... Try a new title, and see if your click through rate will improve.
