PR4 directory - traffic - revenue

hmm, nevermind.....i just went to http://www.checkpagerank.net, and it said pagerank seemed to be forged.

use smartpagerank.com... its the best one I ever used before, it shows alexa, value, indexed pages, backlinked pages, etc...

 

sorry for the slow response with PR and questions, I am on the road right now so have limited access to the web.

The PR should be valid but seems to only show when you use the www, however for some reason the host that it is on must be having some problems or I set it up wrong and cant seem to fix it as when you use www with the domain the site wont load, when you dont use it it works fine. I dont know why but want to point out that it is a current host issue and not a site issue so when the site is moved this should be resolved (or maybe if somebody else knows more on fixing these host glitches then I do ).

I find that when determining page rank and traffic etc while doing your research that you should never rely on 1 source, always use another checker to make sure. I did not get any forged results for this one bt have gotten it on a few of my other sites that I have had for more then 5 years and have no idea why they considered them forged nor why they changed the result later on

I never used smartpagerank.com, but it seems good so I will have to give it a try.

The links on the left hand side were paid to be there but I dont think that the new owner should worry about keeping them there if they dont want to, I can arrange with the owners to have them moved to one of my other web sites, if the new owner keeps them there for a while then that would be great, but I dont think that it should be mandatory, just let me know before you remove them. the same would go for links in the directory, if you wanted to remove them then I cant really stop you, but you may want to keep them there to avoid bad PR from some disgruntal site owners that know they are there, and it doesnt really benifiet much by removing tem anyways, but again it will be up to the new owner, since they will own the site, not me

The links in the footer should remain as the template was free for those conditions and I just noticed that the PHPlink link is missing as I will need to add it there as that is needed inorder to use the script that the site runs on. Once again you can remove these links if you wish bt then you will be responsible for any actions that the licence conditions would entail.

I do have a few more sites that I might end up selling, but will wait for the results of this one first.

I will include a permenant featured listing in my PR3 directory for the new owner (if they wish) and leave any other links that I have for the site from my many other PR sites intact as to not harm the existing PR status.

I never trust the toolbar anymore, I have a desktop and a laptop and they always show different results, I was told that they should refresh every time the computer is rebooted but have never figured out why the laptop always shows older PR ranks.

both, the visible pagerank does not change everyday. It stays the same unless google updates it.

 

www versus no www = different PR
