Yes, that was my only problem with it. That I could not figure out how to create a complex query of only Free directories = PR3 and above, etc.

Is there a way to do this and I don't see how?

Yes, will come in the 1.4 version (only 14 days left ). The Google PR additional selection will come to 2 already existing filters. This will allow more complex queries to be refined. Also in version 1.4 will come user custom directories , a option really asked here in DP.

Hi. Today was planned the release, I am making now the translations.

The application has a 14 days trial version and allows you in trial version submission to 50 directories. In registered version is unlimited.

You can import via text file. You add if you want also only one. All these ways are supported.

As of now I notice one real advantage your software has on my site. I will state this when you take a look and give me your take on it.

When I launched my site as a beta tool, I didn't receive too many good responses. Instead, the topic was hijacked by another directory submission software trying to promte their product. I realized this directory submission tool of theirs was much better then mine, but it did have its disadvantages.

Then I notice this thread you created about your software.

I admit, good looking software and well done. But I'd have to say, even the one who hijacked my thread has a better tool then this one.

I was not sure why so many people praised your tool, when their tool seems to save the most time.

My site alone is NO WHERE CLOSE TO BEING AS GOOD as your software. But my site with RoboForm, is basically almost just as good as yours...Let me know if you agree with my comment here.

I do not agree at all. Let me give you a small comparison:

Your website + Roboform vs Website Submitter

Website Submitter advantages over the above solution you propose:

- allow multiple profiles with tracking. That means even if we add new directories you can submit only to the directories you want. You can resubmit if you want. The reports generated are in HTML and PDF formats or can be printed. If you want to have or deliver to a client a report you can make it easy with our software just using the PDF option. ( see screenshots )
- unlimited anchor texts, unlimited descriptions (all are rotating anchor text and descriptions) ( see screenshots )
- auto complete for: domain url, email, description, rotating anchor text, rotating descriptions
- auto choose category combobox if a match with a defined category was found
- no learning or additional steps required for the input text boxes or combos.
- when you submit to directories you have multiple selections and queries available. Lets give you an example:
1. I can submit to category "Sport" to all "free links"
2. I can submit to directories with Google PR = 6
3. I can submit to directories with payment link required
etc etc ( see screenhsot )
- during the submission you are able to see live Google PR, directory Google PR and also additional details ( see screenshot )
- definitions updates directly from applications, no need for external website, download etc ( see screenshots )

Let's say the above reasons are not enough, but I will give you the best reason for using Website Submitter.

I do not care why our competitors are not doing this, my purpose (infact written in the first post in this thread) is: to provide a tool that is exactly what a webmaster need.

If you need a submitter tool then Website Submitter and Article Submitter must be the nest choice: quality and functionality + price.

 

Hey, k the rotating anchor text and description is something RoboForm can't do, but used with InFormEnter, it'll take a extra 2 seconds to fill it. But I do agree with you, having this automated and saving those 2 seconds are very beneficial. However, this feature is not really needed when it comes to Directory Submissions. For example, description 1 will be used for 200 submitted directories, then edit RoboForm settings for description 2, then submit to another 200 sites with description 2,...thus the "rotating" effect still plays a role.


Using RoboForm, you can auto-complete any field (domain url, description, name, title, etc.)...and if your good enough, you can even make RoboForm remember which category (if exists in the directory) to choose.

The feature where you have Directory details...is something that may actually be useful. I admit, people like glimpsin at that stuff, but my site too does show the "live" toolbar PR.

As for creating reports, this is handy, and this is where your software may benefit someone. I will be adding a feature similar to this for my web site....However, at the moment I'm not too sure if I want to try competing.

The ONLY REASON I built my site was because I ran into a thread that praised this website:

I looked at this website and said to myself, I can make a much better one, and I believe I have. But I think my efforts might have gone to waste with dirtracker.

- speed improvements
- user custom directories (If you want to add your own directories you can click on button "Add Directory"). The stored directories and profiles will be stored if you make future updates (take a look at a video demo with this new functionalities)

Did you not update the version # on 1.4? I downloaded and installed and it still says 1.3.5
