    Hey,

I am just wondering how i can market my product at: www.personaltrainerjob.com

I was going to make a post on a personal training forum.. but then im sure i would get all the replies:

"why would anybody pay you when they can get the info for free from these forums"

    Any ideas?

Is there any other information that you are offering that is not in the forums that you are going to promote in? If there is even just 3% of info that you offer, then you can promote that in the forums. If there is none, then promote through Press release and Email Marketing.

    Cheers!

How about thru affiliate marketing, you can signup with places like CJ or Clickbank and then other people will start to sell your product, if there is any demand for your product it will take off pretty quick.

    thank for the comments

drionix: yeah there is unique content in my product and I offer forms and policies etc which cannot be found in forums. So focus on this when marketing on forums?

Abbadox: Yep i am running this product through clickbank. Only very new (2 days) so i dont have affiliates yet.

You can have some great articles written for you here for a very reasonable price. Use less competitive keywords in article and they may show in serps.

Exactly post it up there. On average an article is around $4 - $10 each, they're not expensive at all ;)

If you have a really good product, I wouldnt worry about people that say its available for free - lots of people sell things from their sites which are free, if you know where to find them

The nature of the internet is that there are millions of people searching via the search engines every day - if they should find your site, they might well buy your product on impulse, simply because they might never find your website again

The starting point really is to ask whether you have a fantastic product, that is better than anything else out there, at a competitive price. Do your homework first, find out if you have a market, do a few trials to see if what you have to offer will sell. This is the most important part, rather than worrying about whether marketing efforts will work on forums. Even if you were successful on forums alone, it can be time consuming posting etc as compared with a few good pay per click ads, that convert to sales
