How accurate is Analytics

    I have been using Awstats for the past 18 months however for some reason I am using Analytics a lot more now. I have had it installed for about a year on my domain and I will the way its easy to navigate.

    The question is, is Analytics very accurate? Doesit pickup everything?
    Or should I rely on Awstats for accuracy and Anlytics for the pretty pictures?

    Surely accuracy will be more for Awstats. Because Analytics will work only if the users browser supports javascript. Some proxies disable javascript by default, such pages gets logged in Awstats but not in Analytics. But as far as ip targeting and similar things are concerned, I think Analytics is more accurate than Awstats.

    How often does it updatE?

    I wish I knew when I should check it every day.

    I've seen some ppl saying that it updates every 20 mins. But I don't visit it that often. Anyway it gets updated atleast every 1-2 hours.
