Improve page rank and traffic

Hi,

im wondering how can i get more traffic and improve my page rank with google?

ive already started exchanging links via the linkmarket website but this doesnt really drive traffic to the site...

whats the best and cheapest way of doing this?

atm the site really is focusing on australian business but i do have alink exchange partner on the home page where i exchange links with other websites.

please advice of the best and cheapest way

For a higher PR,you can purchase one way links such as submitting to directories.

 

U have to take care of the following things
To get traffic u must have good SERP and for that u have to take care of the following
1) DO proper SEO (including on site and off site)
2) And to increase your PR try to make more inbound (inner) links till next pr update so u will have good pr in next update.

stay away from the link farms, it is suggested to do link exchange with sites that don't actively do link exchange. get backlinks from sites that has more contents and less link.

do directory submission to high traffic sites, and submit articles and include a link of yours in it.

You can also try to write articles. They generate lots of backlinks especially for interesting write-ups

 

The best example of how this is done is to look at two sites:

http://www.imaginuity.com/ PR6 site, no SEO, and a Flash site

and then go to

http://www.catanich.com/ PR4 site, medium SEO

Imaginuity has many inbound links and catanich does not. Therefore inbound links are the major factor in PageRank.

Also, check out any link page you are putting you link on. It they use the "no-follow" tag, or use "javaScript" or block the page being indexed, don't waste you time.

FYI linkmarket is a total waste of time. the kind of links that you get are from estate agents in miami and random crap like that which is of no use to anyone. give up with linkmarket and get some decent hand picked, top notch links! write some articles as well and submit those and that should get u started.

 

if u want d ebst n cheapest way thn go in for manual submission.. tht is submit it urself in gud directories on relevant places...

n also plz dont go in for softwares for link submission as it is no gud at all n it might have an ill effect even...
