Is this a previously expired/dropped domain that you acquired? How much time/effort have you put into trying to maintain the existing PR? Have you purchased any new links since putting up the site? If so where? If you have purchased new links, how long are they purchased for?

The edu links you mention are likely to be short lived - the site they're on is updated at regular intervals and dead links are dropped: case in point - this site was also listed there and has been deleted.

Well, ultimately never know how long the .edu links will stay up. Can't compare this to other domains becuase they just aren't the same. Fact is, could stay up for minutes or years.

    For backlinks, please see http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.co...wm=i&bwms=p&bwmf=u&fr=yfp-t-501&fr2=seo-rd-se

I'll probably keep links up on existing sites for at least 3 months after sale to help buyer along, this includes PR5's and PR4's.

Fact is they're on the same edu domain which I know is updated and the link will be deleted.

Another fact you seem to be avoiding is that this is an expired/dropped domain?

Care to PM me the links you've added since acquiring this domain? Are they all your own links?

I am interested, and am not a time waster, but i would like to know where the majority of the traffic comes from... any paid adverts? - any links that will be taken down when the site gets sold (backlinks i mean)

    Thanks,

    Mike

CReed - no one is avoiding anything as I believe in full disclosure. As I have stated to many, I did purchase an expired domain for $$$. If you check, the site use to belong to a writer, there would be no earthly reason why a quality writer would decide to just up and turn their site into a word cloud. If you don't have a bid, please stop bashing this thread. Thanks for the interest.

mikeid22 - Well, can't give away all my secrets ;) But it's DPF and a few other related webmaster sites. Links should still be active after sale and I'll even thrown in some PR4's and PR5's for at least three months after sale.

Rather difficult to make a bid without answers for which I still haven't gotten. If you'd like to PM me the info I requested, I'll consider making a reasonable offer.

CReed - I am still not clear. Rather than bumping this thread up, please send me all your questions via PM. Thank you.

Current high offer is $175.00 but offer closed, decided to keep the site. If anyone is interested, let me know. Figured could make more money in the next month than selling it ;)

    Thanks for the interest.
