Isnt Google themselves violating their policy.

Yeah, I agree with toby, probably written like that to attract users or something. Plus it doesnt mention any inappropriate words.

Try to exclude this ad if you don't like it.

That ad was purchased by an AdWords advertiser - the rules are less strict for AdWords advertisers than AdSense publishers. The upshot is that Google will happily accept ads for 'saucy' material, but won't allow an AdSense publisher to display these ads on their site. Call it two-faced.

Two faced FTW! Yep, if you have a porn site, you cant show adsense ads, but you can use adwords to advertise it. Fo Sho.

Did anyone spot the deliberate mistake? What I mean is "The upshot is that Google will happily accept ads for 'saucy' material, but won't allow an AdSense publisher to display this sort of material on their site".

If you're BUYING from google (ie advertising) they are a whole lot more lenient. Kind of a double standard.

i think cause that would undermine the freedom of expression kinda thing, porn is legal is lotta countries if you are above a certain age.

Google Adsense/Adwords have a totally different, u have to accept the TOS to be a part of it, if u break them, u gone, so they have a reason to take action whereas. Google search has got no such TOS kinda thingy, and since porn is legal, Google wouldnt have any reason not to show up those pages and if they dont by giving the reason "its porn". I see zillions of lawsuits filed against them.

i got no issue with that ad coming up at my blog but just wanted to show the dual faced policies of Google.

So far so good, but guys the morale of google reminds me on TWOFACE from the batman comics, good and evil. Normally a company follows only one philosophy...

I built a website for PS3 keyword back before Christmas and I kept getting ads for ClubJenna.com after I had a health related site banned from adsense for having the keywords: "Teenage Sexual Dysfunction Counseling".

You are observing the Golden Rule at work.

Those that have the gold make the rules.

I bet if publishers PAID to display ads that we could have them on such sites lol It all comes down to the almighty dollar.
