You can win $100 paid via PayPal (so you must have a Paypal account) by blogging about my directory. The rules are simple. Make a blog post about http://www.blogtagstic.com then post here with a link to your post so I can review it. I will read every single post and choose a winner based on the quality of the post. The contest closes on March 10th, I will post that the contest has closed. I will then choose a winner and post it here. Good luck, now blog your socks off.
Jamess, have checked your post, interesting tactic. CristianR, looked at your blog but could not find your contest post. Please post a link directly to your post and remember that posts are being judged on the quality of the post.
Smithers I have reviewed your entry. Keep posting your entries, the deadline is 10th March so this is not a long drawn out contest. There are only 2 confirmed entires so far, someone has to win the $100 so get blogging. It may be the easiest $100 you'll ever get.
Your article is misleading James - the inner pages, where the links are, have PR0 (most of them) so people aren't getting a PR6 backlink.
Jamess, I have checked your updated posts. CountryBoy, thank you for the feedback. As I stated I will be judging posts solely on the quality of the post. Just to clear up the query about PR. All newly submitted blogs appear on the homepage which is a PR6. Blogs are also added to the relevant tags pages which do vary in PR from 5 to 0 depending on the page. This is true for all directories and for all sites indexed by Google. PR is only one of many factors people submit there sites to directories. I would welcome you to enter a blog post for this contest.
This is the final day of the contest as a winner is going to be chosen on the 10th March to win $100 for maiking a post about my blog directory. Don't forget to let me know you have written a blog post by replying to this thread. Good luck everyone, this is your last chance to enter.
Boron, have checked your post and it has been entered into the contest. I have taken onboard your comment on the current lack of a search facility. Confirmed entries are from jamess, Smithers and boron. There is still time to submit your entry for your chance to win $100.
This was the first contest I have ever held so I thought I might post some feedback since the contest has now ended. I had heard about contests before and they seemd quite popular so I thought a straight blog about my directory contest would work well. Everyone blogs and most webmasters have a blog or two. The contest ran for 10 days which I thought would be plenty of time, too long and people would become impatient. The prize was for $100 which I thought would attract a lot of attention as it is an above average prize for this forum. The contest started off slow and then just got buried. I decided to then start promoting the contest elsewhere. The results I was expecting were about 100 posts across a variety of webmaster related blogs. The results I got were far short of my expectations. As a result only 3 posts were entered. Due to the low response I decided to split the prize between the 3 entrants. I'd like to thank Jamess, Boron and Smithers for participating. I'd also like to canvas some feedback to find out why so few people entered and see if anyone can offer some tips for a more successful contest. Thanks again all.
I seriously feel for you my man. I saw this and even wanted to blog about it, but forgot it. I have no idea why you didnt get blog posts considering the amount you were offering is much higher than what people usually do. I just it was just a luck of the draw type thing.
Thanks Mubin, nice blog by the way, I wish you luck on your quest for a million. Just don't forget your friends
