Yeah, I can't believe it. That is such an easy site to maintain too. I hope the new owner doesn't try anything too fancy, I like it the way it is.

It is possible the site was listed on 2 auction sites and he was trying to outbid someone else from another auction site or forum? Doesn't make any sense to me either.
He was probably trying to get more out of his site by raising the bid, so other people would bid above it, to make it appear there is interest. I guess he didn't realize that his bids were not private
Couldn't find anything great about this site.Apart from PR , does it provide any other services? Most of people ( including me )use Google toolbar for that ...
maybe its like ebay... ebay will show multiple bids even if someone tried to place a bid in between as long as the original bidder had placed a higher bid than the bid being placed by someone else.
