I will soon have my own AdSense account and i would like to ask the regulars from in here to start with and where do i go and look for informations to read on before i start my own AdSense account. Your tips and help are most welcome. thanks in advance.
Hit the Policies page at google, too. There are several "Thou shalt nots" there that you need to familiarize yourself with. And even if you memorize the TOS and Policies page, check them periodically because, believe me, they are NOT static. Google adds things to them occasionally and it is up to you to keep on top of them.
Make sure your banners are right in the line of vision. No more than 3 contextual banners per page! No more than 1 link ad! DONT CLICK YOUR OWN ADS! Dont tell anyone to click you ads.

Come here and use the search function if you have questions about what you can and can't do. Chances are, every single question you can possibly come up with has been asked and answered 100 times in the past.
Hooooowwwwwweeeee!!! i'm oozing with replies today from the greatest and the best in this forum ( DP ). i would like to thank you all for the help that you have given to me as a starter on my plan to open an AdSense account. i'm glad this forum is the first to give me most of the informations that i will surely need to have this new venture going. THANKS AGAIN GUYS,,,,,SPECIALLY TO YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED ME SINCE MY FIRST POST ON THE INTRODUCTION. you know who you are.
Hey here on dp is the perfect place for advice. And like everyone says make sure you know the regulations - you don't want to go and get banned!
I heard some people claiming that they learned everything from google adsense support/help a good advice is that you ask them if you have any question, they always reply within 1-2 days
I certainly didn't learn everything from them, but they are the final call (although they sometimes give conflicting info) when it comes to your account so if you ask here and are still wondering or get different opinions, drop google a line. I've always gotten a response. Save that response, too, in case you need it in the future.
