Infractions - Please Read

Is this the feedback that I know? If it is then I wouldn't even bother fretting over it and certainly take no notice of half of what goes on here. I get infracted for breathing but hey, I'd rather breathe and get infractions that be dead and get none!

 

For breathing?

• attacking other members
• duplicate threads
• posting thread in wrong forum
• breathing really really loudly
• attacking other members for breathing too loudly
• not breathing loudly enough
• advising other members to stop breathing
• etc.
• etc.

 

Man...There's a lot of whingers about getting only 1 infraction....LOL
Live it up whilst your DP life is short I say. Keep whinging!!

feedback the fake sig was edited out of the post, the post remained, the infraction was for the fake sig that you put in the post, trying to bypass the rule on new members being limited on having a sig till they are proven as a true member, and not just here to make a post with links to gain PR on Google for back links. and then never come back.

or was that your intention?

Thank you sarahk for bringing this to my attention, obviously I was not aware of this fact and had I known I would certainly approached this matter differently.

I realize I may have gone off half cocked when posting my dissatisfaction for having received an infraction and do apologize to the forum and it's members for the poor judgement shown when making my last post.

However, this does not change the fact that I believe the infraction I received is unjustified. Why you may ask? Well it is my understanding that as a new member of the DP forum I need a minimum of 10 posts before I'm allowed to have a signature and because at present I only have 9 posts, so this point in fact prevents me from beinging able to add a signature in the UCP area.

I am also aware of the fact that if I sign the end of a post with a reference to my wedsite or contact info this is considered a "Fake signature".

However, I consider myself a man of integrity and honor and do not believe I have signed any of the posts I've made to date with more than two words and they are "Thank you".

Therefore I do not agree with this reason as to why the post received an infraction.

You know devin if you feel the need to comment about topics you read in others post the least you could do is offer an intelligent and constructive one that is based on fact rather than pure conjecture.

It doesn't matter if you consider it as a "Fake signature". DP does. This is a private own website, and owner set up rules according to his preference.

i believe you have rules in your house too, right?

 

Ahhh geeze!

Just consider the infraction a way of making you aware of things that aren't acceptable here.

And your signature was removed and was more than "Thank you!" SO Please, just move on!

BTW- Devin is a well-respected senior member. You might actually be able to learn something from him.

 

BTW, feedback- how many accounts do you have here at DP?

 

So what in fact you're saying even though I do not believe I used a "Fake signature" as defind by DP it doesn't matter I've received an infraction for having used one abd should just quietly except it?

Considering you've managed to diverted the flow of posts being made and my reason for being in this area of the forum I'd say your touch is still quite instact and sharper than ever.

For whatever reasons you've decided to pipe into this conversation I should thank you. When it comes down to the bottom line any point I'm trying to make here is nothing more than mute at best, no matter whether I'm right or not. So my thanks to you, for the distraction allowed me to realize this ranting of mine is not going to get me anything but tired.

I think you mean "moot", not "mute", although "mute" would be a good strategy for you to adopt at this point.
