Should I sell ad space to text-link-ads.com?

I run a gaming website for a group of guys and am looking for alternative ways of generating money for our site. I used the caluclator and it stated I could make roughly $20 a month if I put 10 links on my site.

I am thinking of removing a row of google adsense links and adding these permanent links to generate money. Has anyone used this before and is it worth it? Pro's and Con's?

Its very rare that all your 10 links will be sold out at TLA
I see your site is a PR0 so it wont be accepted as they accept minimum PR4 sites only

 

What do you mean they only accept PR4's?

 

They only accept sites that have a PR4 or higher. That way they keep their inventory at a higher level of quality.

 

I said they accept minimum PR4+ websites only, you can give a try with a lower PR website

Pr means PageRank . Quality backlinks will increase the PR of the site .

You can also install the google toolbar to see the PR of any site you visit.

FWIW, I signed a small Pr4 (indexpage only) niche page up on text-link-ads.com. They accepted it pretty quickly.
All of my slots are sold (it took about 2 months for all of the slots to sell), and it brings in $118 a month (after TLA's cut).
Before using text link ads, I tried Google Adsense and made about $14/ month. So for this particular site, it was a vast improvement.

 

If quality content leads to backlinks from people that find your content to be a good resource, yes.

 

Backlinks are sites that have your link somewhere in its content?

 

Just anywhere on another site. Doesn't have to be in the content actually but that does help. Of course TLA does not provide text links in the content, but that would be a killer ad system!

 

Does TLA pay the money to us by paypal or wire transfer? And is it a monthly payout and what is the minimum amount?
