If i submit my link to 100 directories/article sites/blogs per day, will it be ok for google not to see it as something shaddy ? Is there any limit to it or i should be consistent in my link building campaign ? Thanks !
Hi Buddy, there is no exact limit, but you are on right way. As you submit 100 links, all 100 will be not counted by google at a time, for example if you have submitted on xyz, then google will count your link whenever googlebot will visit xyz.
Your server may actually blow up and you will lose your site forever. I sure am glad that you're not my "SEOPERSON".
Is that too much link building campaign ? I was saying if i submit to say, around 70-80 directories, some blogs and some article sites, is that too much ? Please advise if iam wrong ? Thanks !
Nothing will happen from people linking to your site...submit to 10,000 directories...it doesn't matter. As a webmaster, you have absolutely no control over who links to your site...it's just common sense.
You dont have much to worry about. Some sites get thousands of links in a very short time. Example: Digg
i think you must think that there is a limit for this . do as much as you can do . more backlinks is allways good . continue adding directories and building backlinks for your site
Yes, but Digg is an authority site. If you have a new website that barely gets any backlink and then it gets 100 at once I guess you'll look suspiscious.
the quality of the links is important..not the quantity and yes..it will look suspiscious to have a lot of IL in a short period....build your links slowly
You'll be fine as most won't get activiated immediately. Also 100 isn't that big a deal, 1000 now is alittle different or more. Just don't burn out!
I think the key is consistency. If you submit to 1000 directories in month 1, another thousand in month 2 and so on. Month 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 suddenly you dry up no more new links, that could look suspicious and trigger penalties.
100 is probably a pretty good number to do daily. Just make sure you dont put links in any bad neighborhoods.
Picking which directories to submit is the key, every domain with phpld script is not a directory yet. If you pick good directories and submit within appropriate categories, it's always better than nothing. Also buying links from quality paid directories with reasonable price is good too, you can build good links with a not-high budget that way, as said first, which directories to submit is the key (for me)
This cannot look suspicious because if your competitors submit your links to 100+ of sites they could get you out of the game and it's wrong. It cannot work this way.
I'm not saying it will get you out of the game, I'm just saying it might look suspicious although 100 links a day is ok I guess.
