For Canadians who make a living off of adsense, how much are you taxed on your earnings?

Nothing at all :) Adsense doesn't ask us for tax information, only the states. We simply just have to click and check a box saying that we're not Americans or have any servers/sites located in the States.

Lets not talk about earning...LOL! I haven't received my first payment yet but as far as I know we Canadians are not required to provide our Social Insurance Numbers to Google...

You have to declare your earning every year when you file your income tax and it is all depend on your tax bracket...

Correct me if i am wrong

Yeah, actually it should be mentioned when filing tax :p Not worth it if your earners are less than a grand. Thank goodness we don't have the IRS here:p

That's exactly what I've been thinking the past week, about taxes on my earnings. The way things are going, I think I'll be moving to the states very soon. :D

You would declare expenses for the adsense earnings, such as hosting, domains, links, and anything else you feel has helped you earn that money.

No, on your tax return. Canadians have to declare all worldwide income on their tax return but you can reduce net earnings by listing your expenses ...webhosting, Adwords, part of your internet connection bill (cable/ISP), portion of household expenses based on floor area of your "office"...etc...

I think it's for taxing purposes.. so if you have a server there and you're earning money off your site, I'm sure the american IRS will try to get some taxes off US!!! :p (good thing my host is Canadian! )
