In South Carolina they are considering legislation to allow prisoners to get out early in exchange for an organ donation. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070308/ap_on_re_us/inmates_organ_donations
Too bad, otherwise some of the "brave" Republicans hanging around this forum could use it to get the courage to join the war that they support so much from the safety of their homes.
I am sure all of the "brave" Republicans in this forum with all the medical excuses in the world, will definitely agree with you.
They should pass this. Its only 180 days off, not even a full year, and you get the organs you need. As long as they limit the times you can do this, and what you can donate I think it should be implemented.
You don't have to be involved with a movement to agree with it. Let's say that you do not like the war, and you want all the troops to come back now. That doesn't bind you to quit your career and start protesting. I would also like to remind you that a substantial portion of the U.S. military votes Republican. Does that make them un-brave and full of medical excuses? Also, back on the topic of organs: I also think that it is a good idea to limit donation to something medically acceptable.
Pshh.. only 180 days? Given the money involved in the multi-billion dollar a year organ industry I'd stay in jail for the extra 6 months and take money for my organs... Of course then again... big business will never let us get a cut of all that money. They'd rather let thousands die instead.
Lol yea what are you doing gworld to stop the war or to make sure Iraqis get treated fairly are you currently in a human rights group or anything? & if not when will you move forward to become part of a human rights group etc Also what has this thread got to do with war gworld? do you have war on your mind more than us neo-cons haha lol
